Awards with a handshake, not a fee

For generations, family firms have been the backbone of British industry. The name on the van is a promise of quality, and the skills passed down are more than just a living, they are a legacy.

Podmore & Sons Awards were created to honour that legacy. We are independent, proud and rooted in the traditions of honest work. No pay-to-play here, just merit judged fairly.

Why we do it

In a world of faceless corporations, the family firm stands out as a beacon of personal pride. The craftsman who signs his name on the work, the apprentice who learns at his father's side, the shop that has served the same street for a century, they all deserve more than a passing nod.

We started these awards to put the spotlight back on those who keep tradition alive, who repair what others would discard, and who trade with trust and integrity.
